Annie Dabb
Annie grew up in Esperance and it has been home to her father's family for generations. Her mother came from Onslow and they lived in Esperance at Bandy Creek for many years while she was growing up. Annie moved away for work and lived in many parts of Western Australia including Port Hedland, Mullewa and Kalgoorlie. Annie is a proud mother of two daughters and nine grandchildren, seven boys and two girls.
Annie represents the Dabb Family and is also the Deputy Chair on the Board of the Esperance Tjaltjraak Native Title Aboriginal Corporation. In this position she can serve her community and fulfil her role as a traditional owner. Following on from her work with Wongutha Christian Aboriginal Schools Annie is also a mentor for the Aboriginal Rangers.
It is valuable for the rangers to have an independent person who is easy to talk with and who will listen to them without being judgemental
