Fitness, Culture and Hiphop Workshop
Esperance Tjaljtraak ran a fitness, culture and hiphop workshop for up to 14 young Esperance locals between 7 to 10 January 2020.
The crew started their day at TNT Fitness WA where facilitator, traditional owner and ETNTAC Director Andrew Beck coached the boys in group exercise sessions.
They then headed over to Esperance Community Arts to do some tool making whilst chatting about their culture and some of the challenges they face within the community. Facilitator Nelson Marsters who is a drug and alcohol counsellor also worked with the boys to produce hip hop beats inspired by their time during the workshops.
This was made possible from a grant through Western Australia Police Force and our in-kind supporters TNT Fitness WA, Escare Incorporated and Esperance Community Arts.
